To our valued patients:

At Springs Dentistry, we are committed to mitigating the spread of COVID-19 and preserving PPE (gloves, masks, etc.), and we are following ADA guidance and Colorado State requirements to postpone all elective dental procedures until after April 14, 2020. The safety and well-being of our patients and staff is our top priority, and we will remain open on a limited basis to continue to care for our patients with urgent and emergency dental needs.

Our practice has always upheld the highest standards of safety and hygiene. Below are the procedures that we have in place to protect our patients:

· Disinfecting our waiting room every hour with anti-viral cleaning solutions

· Deep cleaning of all operatories between patients

· Educating our team members on social distancing, COVID-19 symptoms, and preventative measures

· Mandating team members stay away when experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or have been exposed to a confirmed case

· Screening all team members and patients for travel and signs of symptoms

· Taking temperature readings of all patients

· Requiring all patients to thoroughly rinse with Listerine Antiseptic mouthwash once they enter the operatory

· Requiring patients to wash hands immediately before and after appointment

We also ask our patients to do their part in containing this outbreak. Please also reach out to our staff to reschedule your appointment:

· If you have travelled internationally in last 15 days

· If you have come into contact with anyone who has traveled internationally in the past 15 days

· If you have travelled to the following Colorado counties since March 7th: Eagle, Summit, Pitkin or Gunnison

· If you have been in contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 or being tested for the virus

· If you have a cold

· If you have had a cold in the last 14 days

· If you have a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or flu like symptoms

· If you have had a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or flu like symptoms in the last 14 days

Additionally, please limit the number of friends or family members you bring to your appointment to one person. We also encourage patients to practice social distancing by waiting in cars after checking in with the front desk. We will call once ready to be seen in one of our clinical rooms.

We are closely monitoring the situation and will do whatever is best for the health and safety of our patients. Thank you for your loyal support of our practice and please let us know if you have any questions. As more information and changes occur with this situation, we will continue to update you.

Sincerely,

Dr. John Lydiatt
